School Choice

School choice is near and dear to my heart. I have 12 grandchildren and all of their parents have the opportunity to elect where their kids get to be educated, but this is not currently a viable option for all Texas families. In my personal life, I strongly advocate for policies that empower parents to select the best educational pathways for their children, and I will take these values to the state.

Promoting Educational Freedom

My leadership experience and unwavering commitment to family values drive me to support school choice for Texas that reflects the diverse needs and beliefs of Texas families. I champion a variety of educational options—public, charter, private schools, and homeschooling—to ensure each child can excel in the learning environment that suits them best.

Addressing Gender Identity Pressures in Schools

I believe that as a society, we should prioritize protecting children from pressures to question their gender identity in schools. I believe that advocating for a curriculum that respects family values and ensures age-appropriate education is vital to young Texan’s well-being.
