About Cheryl Bean
Candidate For Texas
House of Representatives District 97
I am Cheryl Bean, I grew up Southwest of Fort Worth. It’s where I went to school, built a business, raised my four children, and now is where most of my 12 grandchildren are growing up. This is where I learned how to stand firm in my faith and stand up for freedom over government control.
As the daughter of a US Air Force fighter pilot, I’ve always had a heart for service and protecting our country. I began my career as an engineer with a master’s degree in the aerospace industry, then spent the next 20 years working for defense companies, leading teams that developed high-tech systems and war “gaming” strategies. I was also fortunate enough to spend time in Israel as a manager for an Israeli-owned company and worked closely with members of their special forces.

With Experience And Time
To Get The Job Done!
Over the last 15 years, I have built a Home Remodeling company. I am the Past President of the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association and a member of the Texas Association of Builders Board of Directors. Through this work, I have had the opportunity to help shape Texas legislation on small business regulations and taxes and regulations in the housing and building industry.
No matter where my career has taken me, I have made an effort to lead my community on values that matter to residents like protecting our children from CRT and gender identity indoctrination in schools, religious freedom, and family issues. I currently serve on the board of a local charter school.
My background is perfectly aligned with the kind of leaders Texas needs right now as our borders, businesses, and conservative values are under attack.
I am a tough Texan with experience. My career in defense equipped me with knowledge of national threats to our borders and land. As a small business owner, parent, and grandparent, I am fully committed to empowering our businesspeople and parents who work to provide their children with the best future possible. I am the kind of conservative Texans can count on to speak up, stand strong, and get the work done!

School Choice
As a member on the board of a charter school, and as a parent and grandparent myself, I believe strongly in educational freedom and giving parents the power to decide what school is best for their children. Opportunity for a quality education should not be exclusive. Every child should be given the chance to succeed. Additionally, we owe it to the future generation to safeguard their innocence by keeping explicit material out of their young hands.

Upholding the Freedoms of Life & Liberty
Texas is now the most pro-life, pro-gun, pro-freedom state in the nation. We fought hard to get here, and the left is going to fight just as hard to roll back those freedoms. We can’t let our guard down when it comes to protecting our God-given constitutional rights.
Lowering Taxes & Helping Small Business
There is no question that property taxes in Texas are high. Texans everywhere– especially homeowners and small businesses— are demanding solutions. I know because I see it every day in my own home build and development business. We need to keep Texas moving in a prosperous direction, and the only way to do that is to keep taxes and regulations low.

Texas Border Security
It is an undisputed fact that an insecure border leads to insecurity within the entire state. I agree with Gov. Abbott that we should complete the physical barrier between Texas and Mexico in order to fight against the drugs, human trafficking, and illegal immigration that threatens the security of Texas residents.

Defending Texans from Foreign Threats
Texas is suffering under a broken border. Drugs and human traffickers are pouring into our state. China is staking claim our land. With experience in the defense industry, I understand what it takes to protect our state from foreign threats. We need to act smart and act now to stop the crisis at the Mexico-United States Border from becoming dangerously irreversible and to keep foreign threats out of our state.

District 97 is located Southwest of Fort Worth and covers the Benbrook and Crowley areas. Craig Goldman previously held the seat and has left it to run for Congress. Cheryl will face two opponents in the Republican primary, which is projected to have a turnout of 25,000 voters.
State of the Race
In the first 24 hours of the campaign, Cheryl Bean for Texas 97th team raised $100,000 in the fight to represent your values. Shortly after this campaign launched, Cheryl was awarded major endorsements from Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare, Former State House Representative Matt Krause, current State Representative Nate Schatzline, the immediate past Chairman of the Tarrant County GOP, and Texas Values.
Cheryl Bean will toe the line on the most conservative issues that Texans care about but also has the experience necessary to get the job done.
The other candidates in the race for Texas House Representative Chair 97 are John McQueeney & Leslie Robnett.
